Happy Hairstyle Appreciation Day- Irresistible ME

Beauty/ Hair

Today is Hairstyle Appreciation Day and what better way to celebrate this day then by styling my Irresistible Me clip-in hair extensions. To be honest my hair is important to me and how it looks throughout the day is crucial to my confidence. I don’t know many women who enjoy having a bad hair day! haha! To create this style I sectioned my hair in three parts starting from the bottom of my head. The first section, at the bottom, I clipped in the longest Irresistible Me clip-in hair extension. After the hair was clipped-in and secured I began spiral curling my hair with my straightener. (Let me know if you would like to me to show you the technique of curling with a straightener in another post).  Once the section was complete I used the same concept for the next two sections. I only used three out of the 7 hair clips and look how full and luscious my hair looks! Its amazing!

What I love about Irresistible Me is that each hair clip-in is thick with lots of hair! A lot of hair clip-ins are uncomfortable to wear but I was able to wear Irresistible Me all day and was even able to sleep in the hair and woke up with natural looking hair. The hair is so soft and easy to manage. The hair can take heat extremely well. When curling there are no burning smell and I have no signs of hair shedding. The hair blends in extremely well with my hair. I love how I can run my hands through the hair even while washing them. I suggest when washing the hair to only use conditioner and warm water. After washing, let the hair air-dry over night.

Make sure you check out Irresistible Me hair extensions at their website and social media sites. If you love hair extensions as much as I do or if you are new to concept and want to give your hair a boost, give Irresistible Me a try. I promise you won’t be disappointed. Thank you all for reading! I hope you have an amazing weekend!

After the photoshoot I think I will relax and enjoy my day before heading back to work Monday morning. Above is my mood board for the week: Blush Pink. I am going to try to wear light pink this week to bring out my girly side. I hope the photos above give you inspiration to wear pink as well! What do you like to pair your pink clothing with?

Thanks so much for reading! Have a wonderful rest of your Sunday!

4 Year Anniversary

Let's Talk

Wow! I can’t believe I have been living in this crazy wild exciting city for exactly 4 years! Los Angeles is not just a city to me, it has become a place of growth. I moved here from Indiana on March 28, 2012 with three suite cases and a dream. I remember my first day in class at The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising started April 1. So moving here was a world wind of emotions. When I look back on the four years I have reside here in LA I can only describe it as a learning experience of rejection, acceptance, and triumph. I have been through a lot here in LA but one thing that has remained consistent is my love for fashion.

I thank God everyday for the opportunities He has given me and I also thank Him for the rejections and the closed doors. Those moments of devastation and confusion are only to make me stronger, because I know He has bigger and better opportunities for me that I can’t even imagine. God has never left my side throughout these 4 years and I know He will continue to guide me through this journey of following my dreams.

Lastly, THANK YOU to each and everyone of you for following me on my blog and social media outlets. I am so blessed to have so many people supporting and believing in me. Four years ago I only knew what was to come day by day but through this blog I see a definite future. I know my destiny and I am so excited for what is to come. Please know your comments, likes, and messages keep me encouraged. I can’t thank you all enough.

Love you all so much!

xoxo Candice

Mulholland Sunset

Fashion/ Style

California sunsets are like none other. They can range from beautiful violets and pinks to golden tons like pictured here. Mulholland Dr. is the perfect road to see alluring sunsets and Los Angeles’ skyline. I love how the sunset brings out the caramel tons in my skin. Today I am wearing a royal blue romper from STYLESTALKER. The way the shorts are cut highlight and elongate my legs. The deep v neckline makes this the perfect day to night look.

Do you ever sit and watch the sunset or are you a lover of sunrises?

The Attached Chocker

Fashion/ Style

It’s a beautiful day in LA! I’m so happy to not have to wear a light jacket! The chocker trend is hot right now andI was able to find this off the shoulder crop top with an attached chocker from Aliexpress. I paired the top with these distressed jeans and belt from H&M and my pumps are Jeffery Campbell.

Hope you all like this look. It’s pretty simple to put together from your own closet. Enjoy this beautiful day and I will talk to you all very soon!

xoxo Candice

My New Girl Audition!

Let's Talk

The Director of the Fox shoe “New Girl” called me for an audition! A couple of  Mondays ago I was able to audition for a new character on the show! It was my first audition ever! (Shoutout to my mom for practicing the lines with me for 3 hours). Unfortunately they gave the part to a girl from “The Walking Dead” but I’m honored I was put in the same category as her! Maybe more auctions are in my future! Moral of the story — you never know who is watching you! Hope you all have a lovely day!

All this love is incredible! I am so blessed to have so many people that love me and believe in my future! This is just the beginning! I hope and pray for success for all of you. I want everyone’s dreams to come true!

I Want a Studio Apartment!

Hey Lovelies! Im headed to Santa Barbra for some major wine tasting in an hour, but before I take off on such a spontaneous trip I wanted to share this beautiful loft I discovered on Pinterest. I have been drooling over the idea of living in a loft apartment. Dreaming of tons of space and means to uniquely decorate to make an illusion of many rooms completely intrigues me! This loft is located in New York and was actually set up as a pop-up shop where every piece was for sale! Well in that case I will take everything, please 😉 Let me know what you all think of this loft! Have a great Saturday!

Fashion For Breakfast

Event/ Fashion

Yesterday I was able to attend the Fashion For Breakfast event hosted by Hollywood Reporter, Pret-a-Reporter, and The OUTNET.COM. The event was held at Cecconi’s West Hollywood, which is one of my favorite restaurants simply because of the beautiful interior decorating and of course their exquisite cuisine. Celebrity stylist Ilaria Urbinati was the guest speaker. Bradley Cooper, Ryan Reynolds, Krysten Ritter and Nina Dobrev are just a few of the many celebrity clients Urbinati has dresses. It was encouraging to hear her speak of the passion, endurance, and support she experiences as a stylist.

What I Wore: Sweater: Whitney Eve, Jeans: Denimocracy, Jacket: Zara,  Shoes: Steve Madden

Thanks for reading! Talk to you soon!

Say Hello to Longer Legs!

Fashion/ Style

I secretly tell people I am 5’7” because I am usually wearing heels. It’s all good until I am seen in my sneakers or ballet flats! I enjoy wearing heels but I also enjoy the comfortability in wearing flat shoes. If you are “Fun Size” like me, women under 5’5’’, you might reconsider the flats. If only there was a way to look taller in flat shoes. Thankfully “Say Hello to Longer Legs” has created a very unique way to go from, in my case, 5’ 4” to 5’ 6” in flats! I am so excited to introduce this product to you all!

The organization was founded by three friends, two French men and an Australian, originating from the style and excellence commercial ventures. They began this idea right around a year prior in New York’s Lower East Side. “Say Hello to Longer Legs” is an invisible heel you place in your shoes and VOILA you have instant longer legs. Composed of a thick, wipe like pad, the moderate device effectively slips into your most loved pair of lower, close toe, or ankle shoes and gives that additional help you might need to take off over the rest. When wearing my invisible heels I not only feel taller, sexier, and happier, I am just as comfortable as I was if I didn’t have them in my shoes. Invisible Heels is an incredible distinct option for heels, and helps ladies feel more certain at the same time keeping their regular excellence and easygoing style.

Celebs like Tyra Banks and magazines like In Style are all raving about the invisible heel. “Say Hello to Longer Legs” can be purchased on their website (link website) or at other stores like Ultra Beauty and Nasty Gal. Purchase your invisible heels today! I know I’ll be rocking mine a lot.

Thanks for reading and have a wonderful day!!

xoxo !
