My grandmother was a collector of jewelry. She loves every kind of jewelry: necklaces, rings, bracelets, earrings, anklets, and more. When it came to her jewelry, she was the essence of statement pieces and conversation starters. I was lucky enough to inherit some of her most cherished jewelry items that I will pass down to my daughter someday. My Mom, has the
same love for jewelry. Often times, my mom calls and asks if I have any unwanted jewelry that I am willing to send her. It’s almost become tradition when I visit my parents in Indiana I must always bring jewelry. She loves anything bold and unique.
My love for jewelry is very different than my grandmother and mother. I am a lover of delicate and simple jewelry. Nothing too showy or extremely out there. I am a strong believer in less is more. Most people know me to also wear the same pieces. A simple tiered necklace, minimalistic rings, and studded earrings. Well to be honest, sometimes I get bold with my earrings but that’s the most I will do! Overall, I like to keep my jewels as simple and delicate as possible. Can you relate or are you more like my mom and grandmother?
As I have gotten older, it has become more of a desire to find long-lasting jewelry. When I find a piece I love, I want to wear it more than just once or twice. I want it to last forever. KAY is the perfect place to shop all my delicate and long-lasting jewelry pieces.
You can see in my photos the three amazing pieces I can wear with everything! I am loving this tiered necklace because it goes with all my tops and dresses, doesn’t over power my outfit but enhances it in a very simple way. The rings are my favorite though because they are both subtle and don’t weigh my hand down like other rings may do. Of the three pieces which is your favorite?
Now it’s giveaway time! Head over to my Instagram to enter to win one of these KAY pieces. Looking forward to chatting over there. Thanks so much for reading and I will see you back on the blog soon!
