Florals are the Antidote to Winter Blues

Fashion/ Style

Winter is in full swing but sometimes I just want to wear something that reminds me of spring. I want to make us reconsider this ladylike modification as a mood-brightening antidote to the darker side of winter fashion. To create this form of weather illusion I have paired this floral top and skirt from the Who What Wear Target collection. This illuminating yellow is absolutely brighting my winter!

I love how bright and colourful the yellow on the dress is in contrast to the black. I wear a lot of black, it is like my comfort colour, though I do wear brighter colours too x

If I’m honest I don’t think I have set wardrobe for each season. I just wear what suits me! Love this dress on you. My solution to winter blues is trying to keep as active as I can as find winter can sometimes make me feel tired somehow and dark brings me down lol going to work in dark and home when dark is a big downer for me so find increasing exercise and finding ways to motivate really help! I love that dress you are wearing, it would look great for Spring. I always like Winter before Christmas, never like it in January

My clothes are always pretty monochrome and I wear a lot of black but I tend to brighten things up with a bright lipstick or eyeshadow x

I pop a bright lipstick on or a splash of colour in a scarf or piece of jewellery.
