Hey everyone down there on earth! I am flying over you at 37,966 feet in a purple lite plane known as Virgin America. This is my first time flying Virgin and I am sure loving every minute of it. Like I’ve heard many of times, Virgin America is one of a kind. So when I got the opportunity to fly with them, I was thrilled. For this trip I am headed to Washington, DC to see my best friend of 9+ years, Lindsay. We met a few weeks before attending college together. Funny story – Lindsay saw me and my family on the local news going through airport security. Lindsay wrote on my Facebook wall, before there was private messaging, and said “Were you on TV today?” That’s all it took for me and her to become best friends for life. Since college flying has been a big part of our relationship. Being that we live on complete opposite sides of the U.S., planning tips are mandatory. I am so excited to see her!
Virgin has made it easy for me to connect to my followers today! With their partnership with GoGo Inflight Internet I am able to access the internet all day. After only being on the flight 45 min and so many exciting things happened. First there was the classic safety info given to us passengers through a music video with dancing, rhymes, and celebrities. Recently a lady proposed to her girlfriend over the intercom and she said yes! Congrats to them! Virgin offers amazing food of all types. I was happy to purchase their tasty PB&J. Yummy!
Virgin American Airlines also provides touch screens for each passenger. There are so many beverage and food choices and lots of movies, music, and shopping all located on your personal screen. I was able to choose my drinks from the screen and they were quickly brought to me by one of their great flight attendants.
Over all I have truly enjoyed the 4 hours flying Virgin American. One more hour to go until I see my bestie! Tell me in the comments- Have you every flown Virgin America? What was your experience? Do you have any trips coming up? You know how much I love reading your comments!
Happy 4th of July!
